Mold Making

At H&B Machine & Tool Co., Inc., we specialize in the machining of precision molds and production components for a variety of industries. Our mold making capabilities include the design, engineering, and manufacturing of transfer, compression, and injection molds from aluminum, steel, or plastic materials. By employing CAD design and modeling tools, we are able to finalize details of the mold design and verify that materials will flow as expected prior to any fabrication taking place. Molds up to 24" in length, 24" in width, and 12" in height can be manufactured to dimensional tolerances as tight as ±0.0002" and surface finishes as fine as 16 micro inches.
Accurate and durable tooling is essential to the production of consistent, quality components. Our molds are used by customers throughout the automotive, medical, marine, and other manufacturing industries to produce premium quality rubber and plastic parts. With a history in the industry that dates back to 1962 and a facility which features advanced precision machining equipment, our ability to provide the highest quality tooling is unrivaled.
In addition to mold making, we provide production milling, turning, and micro welding of prototype, low volume, and high volume components. The lead time for a mold is evaluated on a job by job basis, depending on the extent of project. Delivery is available in the local area and shipping can be provided for customers located outside of the region.
